This project is to refine the content of the senior course of Mechanical Design and Practice in Department of Mechanical Engineering at NCTU. It is the third year of the project. Beside enhancing students’ hand-on experiences, we try to improve students’ capabilities in system integration by focusing the coordination between concept design and manufacture. In the early stage of the course, a simple project is assigned to each student to allow every one to experience the whole process of design and practice in a short time. Then a more difficult team project is assigned to each team with 2 to 3 students. The team project is a remotely controlled electric car for jumping in this year. In the end of the semester, a competition is held for fun. Newspaper has reported this activity. Also, many students express that this course is one of their most favorite courses in four years.. .
