Answer all of the following questions.
Note: We are using DCMS’s definition of creative industries in the followng.
一、In discussing creative strategy, Chris Bilton and Stephen Cummings adopt the concept of bisociation to illustrate its process of integration. What is bisociation? What are the four distinctive bisociative characters? How do they function or work? (25%)
二、The question includes the following two parts. (25%)
A. Analyze the role of the gatekeeper in creative industries. Use any case you are aware of to support your discussion.
B. Explain why social network is so important in creative industries. Be sure to use any case of creative industries to substantiate the validity of your argument.
三、In what way are 4 Ps of marketing in creative industries different from or similar to those in tradational manufacture or service industries. Be sure to cite examples to support your argument. (25%)
四、What are the basic assumptions or theories to support the development of creative clusters? You may use Michael Porter’s defintion and cluster theory as a springboard from which to anyalze any successful examples. What are the features of successful clusters? What might be the drawbacks? (25%)
