課程目標
Course Objectives
比較宗教是宗教研究建立初期時的主要視野,隨著宗教研究理論以及方法的 多元發展,為何比較以及如何比較等問題也成為需要進一部反思的課題。在 後現代哲學對於差異的關注之中,比較研究受到強烈的質疑,但也有學者從 這樣的批判中積極尋找比較研究的新的可能性。本課程將以宗教倫理為主 題,討論比較宗教的相關辯論、理論與方法等議題,希望提昇博士生對比較 宗教研究領域之問題意識以及在地脈絡化思考的能力。

(一) 每次上課由同學報告當次閱讀指定材料,報告同學同時負責擬定課程
討論問題大綱,每位同學報告時間以不超過20 分鐘為原則。
(二)本課程由兩位老師合開,5/8 起課程以英語進行。

Remarks
(一) 上課前事先研讀當週閱讀指定材料,課中積極參與討論。
(二) 選擇六次上課閱讀資料撰寫兩頁之閱讀報告或是問題,於當週上課時繳 交,並於課堂提出討論。
(三) 期末報告:學期末繳交有關比較宗教主題的報告一篇,字數約為一萬兩
千字,可以是主題研究,或是相關文獻之review。希望同學從期初或期中就
開始跟老師討論預撰寫之主題,期中開始會陸續安排同學在課堂上發表初步 構想。
