ISRS 2018

The ISRS 2018 in association with 34th Spring Symposium of KSRS is open to all scientists, researchers and students working in the fields of remote sensing, space science and technology, and its related geospatial information technology.

Important Dates

- Deadline for Abstract Submission: 9 February 2018 - Deadline for Full Paper Submission: 16 March 2018 - Deadline for Pre-Registration: 16 March 2018

Abstract Submission

Papers reporting original and unpublished research results on various relevant topics are solicited.

Authors will be notified of the receipt of submission via web site. All accepted papers in the track are expected to be presented and will be included in the conference proceedings.

Participants to the symposium are kindly invited to submit their abstracts by 9 February 2018.

Instruction for Authors: A 300-words abstract with the title of the paper, affiliation(s), and contact information of mailing address, phone/facsimile numbers, e-mail address, preference between oral and poster presentation, and participating student prize through the web site http://www.isrs.or.kr

*If electronic submission using the web site abstract form is not possible, please send the abstract via e-mail to ksrs@ksrs.or.kr

Registration

All presenting authors must pre-register by 16 March 2018, in order to remain on the final program schedule. Registration fees include admission to all technical sessions, the exhibit and break areas, welcome dinner banquet, and a copy of DVD proceedings. To be eligible for the reduced student registration fee, students are required to send a photocopy of their student card and a certificate or a letter signed by their professor verifying their status with the registration by e-mail (ksrs@ksrs.or.kr).

Pre-registration form is available at http://www.isrs.or.kr.

On-site registration

On-site registration will be available during the symposium after online registration due date on 16 March 2018 .

Student Competition

Best student paper awards are to be given to the winners of the student competition. The evaluation will be based on the judgment of the evaluation committee. The results will be announced during the closing ceremony on last day of the symposium (11 May 2018). If you want to enter the student competition, the first author of a paper has to be a student and prepare Oral/Poster presentation. Note that the first author of the Oral/Poster presentation should be a student so as to be eligible for the competition.

Call for “Special Session”

International Symposium on Remote Sensing (ISRS) 2018

The 25th International Symposium on Remote Sensing (ISRS) 2018 will be held at Alpensia Convention Center in Pyeongchang, Korea during 9-11 May 2018.

The annual symposium, ISRS is recognized as a unique event for East Asian remote sensing communities. For a productive and exciting experience during ISRS 2018,

we plan to provide the opportunity to have special sessions under the following conditions:

- One session is 80 minutes long

- Fee for one session is 1,500 US$ plus some donation if possible

- Projector, PC, and room staff will be provided from the ISRS2018 organizing committee

- The special session organizer is requested to inform presenters’ names, affiliations and presentation titles to Prof. No-Wook Park, Organizing Committee Chair of ISRS 2018 (nwpark@inha.ac.kr ) by 9 February 2018.

- In case that presenters wish to publish their papers in ISRS2018 proceedings, each presenter is requested to submit his/her extended abstract or full paper to ISRS2018 web site (http://www.isrs.or.kr) by 16 March 2018. It is also possible to publish the papers of the special session in a separate form by the responsibility of the session organizer.

- Participants of the Special Session must register to ISRS 2018 with the same registration fee as ordinary participants of ISRS2018.

We cordially invite your contribution to organize Special Session in ISRS2018. For an application for the Special Session, please submit the application form by 9 February 2018 to Prof. No-Wook Park
