一、參加會議經過

此次參加的會議為第 54 屆美國運動醫學會年會(ACSM 54th

Annual Meeting),主辦單位為 美國運動醫學會(American College of Sports Medicine),開會日期為 2007 年 5 月 30 日至 6 月 2 日,共計 4 天,地點在紐澳良的 Ernest N. Morial Convention Center,以下為參加會議的經過描 述: 此次美國運動醫學年會於 5 月 30 日開始。此研討會為每年舉辦一次的全美運動醫學的學 術研討會,涵蓋領域非常廣泛,舉凡與運動有關的議題如心理、生理、力學、生化或是臨床、 臨場表現皆包含在內,雖名為美國運動醫學年會,但不乏各國學者前來參加,由於發表場次 及人數眾多,因此同一時段中最多有 21 個場地同時進行口題發表,故在如此大型的研討會能 得到更多新的資訊及觀念,使國際間的學術交流更多元化,另外於會場中心有多家廠商擺設 最新儀器產品參與展示,提供與會學者最新的儀器資訊。

The Comparison Of Kinematics Characteristics Of Two Roundhouse Kicking

Techniques In Elite Taekwondo Athletes.

Speed and power are the important factors to get points in Taekwondo. In competitions, the

roundhouse kick is the most frequently used technique. Two kinds of roundhouse kicking technique called rear-leg roundhouse kick and slide roundhouse kick are responsible for the active attack. The techniques are not clear and they almost depend on coach experiences during teaching. No

quantitative study was designed to compare these two kick techniques at present. It is necessary for sport scientist to explore the differences between these two techniques and provide for coaching instruction.

PURPOSE: To analyze the differences of kinematics characteristics of lower extremity between

rear-leg roundhouse kick and slide roundhouse kick through motion analysis system. METHODS: Six elite athletes of National Taekwondo Team of Taiwan who won many medals of Taekwondo games at international level (include 2004 Olympic Games). In experimental setup, eight high speed cameras (sampling rate 120 Hz) were used to collect the kinematics data through tracking the makers automatically, and then the joint velocity and angular velocity for each lower limb were derived from the time series. The movement time was calculated from toe-off to the target contact. The t test was used to assess differences between two roundhouse kicking techniques. RESULTS: The distance between target and subject (1.87±0.01 vs. 1.91±0.17 m, p>0.05 ) did not reach

significant difference. The movement time of rear-leg roundhouse kick was significantly lower than slide roundhouse kick (0.22± 0.01 vs. 0.31±0.03 second, p<0.05). The peak velocity of rear-leg roundhouse kick was significantly greater than slide roundhouse kick (16.48±1.62 vs. 13.43±0.89 m/s for the toe and 7.7±0.66 vs. 5.38±0.42 m/s for the knee, p<0.05). However, the peak knee angular velocity of rear-leg roundhouse kick and slide roundhouse kick (1428.7± 217.7 vs. 1534.7± 109.2 °/s, p>0.05) did not reach significant difference. CONCLUSION: The peak toe velocity and movement time of rear-leg roundhouse kick are greater and faster than slide roundhouse kick. For the reasons of speed and power, it was suggested that the rear-leg roundhouse kick will be a better choice than slide roundhouse kick for attacking effectively.
