Please summarize the entire research, teaching, or science and technology R&D and management work process
I gave one talk entitled “Dynamic Adaptation for Resilient Integrated Circuits and Systems” which is closely related to Professor Tsung-Yi Ho’s current research. The resilient techniques will also be beneficial to the system of microfluidic biochips. During my stay here, I discussed with all the Ph.D. and master students in Professor Ho’s lab. After that, we have brainstormed many interesting research topics and discussed the possible ways of collaboration. Professor Ho is now applying a national project in NSC and I also involved as the international collaborator. Moreover, I will work on the student exchange issue between Duke and NCKU right after I come back Duke.

What are the methods, professional knowledge, and progress of the research, teaching, or R&D and management work?
We discussed the implementation details of designs of cyberphysical digital microfluidic biochips under completion-time uncertainties in fluidic operations. Moreover, we also develop the reliability-oriented broadcast addressing algorithm for pin-count minimization. After the implementation of the tools, we will integrate it into the real application in Duke University.

How have the research, teaching, or R&D and management results of the employed person given benefit to the project (or your unit)? Prof. Krishnendu Chakrabarty is the master of digital microfluidics research. His advice and experience sharing are quite useful for our ongoing works.
(4)受延攬人於補助期間對貴單位或國內相關學術科技領域助益如何?
How has the employed person, during his or her term of employment, benefited your unit or the relevant domestic academic field? Not only the research collaboration on digital microfluidics research with our lab, Prof. Krishnendu Chakrabarty will also help on the exchange program of graduate students in EECS college in NCKU.
