Ed 負責 CPA Global 的專利情報分析部門，該部門依各個客戶不同的需求，客製化地 進行不同程度的專利研究分析專案，範圍的覆蓋從汽車電子到洗碗機清潔劑等等；其 亦為全球最大企業提供專利資產評估，分析和診斷服務。其專業團隊包括技術顧問、
資料科學家和專案經理，分佈於亞太區、 印度、 歐洲和美國。
Ed 在技術情報和智慧財產權策略等相關領域曾擔任過分析師、專案經理和顧問，具有 16 年以上的相關經驗。
Ed 曾開發過先進的資訊系統，就研發活動進行統計分析，其包括專利強度測量、專利 品質與鑑價等方法，專利和非專利資料來源的協調制度。
Ed 合作過的客戶遍佈整個研發相關產業，在過去曾提供服務給財富 500 強企業董事會 成員、政府機構負責人、部長、首席技術官及總法律顧問。
Ed 現居於倫敦，畢業於諾汀罕大學，擁有電子工程工學學士學位。

Ed leads the Analytics practice at CPA Global, a unit which produces custom project-based intelligence reports on everything from automotive transmissions to dishwasher detergent, as well providing portfolio reviews and diagnostics for the largest corporations in the world. His team of Technical Consultants, Data Scientists and Project Managers are located in Asia Pacific, India, Europe and the United States.
He has 16 years of experience in the Intellectual Property industry, as an analyst, manager and consultant within technical/competitive intelligence and IP
strategy metrics
Ed has a background in developing new communication methods for advanced statistical analysis of R&D activity, including patent strength measurement, scoring algorithms and harmonization of patent and non-patent data sources.
Ed has worked with hundreds of different client organisations across almost all R&D intensive industries, delivering to Fortune 500 board members,
government agency heads and ministers and CTOs/General Counsels.
He is based in London, UK and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
