A、Credit & Classroom:

Lecture: 2 Cr. Practicum: 1 Cr.

B、Course description:

This course provides an introduction to the growing knowledge base of human development. It focuses on the principle and theories of human development that to explore the unique

characteristics, including physical, psychological and social aspects of individual at different stages of life through life span.

C、Course objectives:

1. Recognize human's developing process through the life span including physical, psychological, and social aspects.

2. Identify the various developmental characteristics at different stages through life span.

3. Utilize the knowledge acquired from this course and the observation skills which based on the selected theories to analyzing one's development in practice.

D、Course format:

Lecture / Discussion / Group presentation / Video materials / Tours and observation

E、Evaluation: * 三次點名不到者,將以扣考處分

Lecture(3 Cr.): Mid-term examination 40%

Final examination 40%

Discussion and participation 20%

Practicum(1 Cr.): Case report 30% (含二份)

Discussion 30% (含五次)

Group presentation 30%

(Oral presentation 20% & Intragroup evaluation 10%)

Tour report 10% (含一份)
