Goal: This course aims at improving students’ reading skills, their analytical and critical thinking abilities through reading, discussion, and presentation.

Text: Maclntyre, Paul. Reading Explorer 4. Boston: Heinle, 2010.

Requirements:

*Preview and review each lesson. Attend class on time and participate in class activities. Prepare for quizzes.

* There is no lenience to students who are absent over three times and who don’t study hard. If you are absent one time, you will get three demerits. If you are absent over three times, you cannot take the final exam. Inform the teacher when you ask for sick leave.

*Hand in assignments on time; late assignments are not accepted. Type all assignments.
