A STUDY ON THE TOTAL EMISSION VOLUME OF DIESEL VEHICLE

ABSTRACT
This paper proposes a method to calculate the total emission volume of diesel vehicles. The total emission volume is the total weight of the emitted particular materials of all diesel vehicles in an area. It is obtained by multiplying the average emission and the total numbers of the vehicles.
The proposed method is used to calculate the total diesel vehicle emission in Ping-Tung county area. The testing data from Ping-Tung county diesel vehicle emission testing project are used in the calculation. The results are used as a reference for scheduling further diesel vehicle emission control.
