Conclusion

• MRM mode of LC/MSMS is more sensitive than the direct

detection using survey scan for the detection of extremely

low abundant estrogenized serum protein.

• However, MRM detection still suffered from background

interferences and thus making quantification not reliable.

• Standard addition method using positive serum standard

was developed and it appeared to be applicable.

• More investigations will be done to establish the

quantification method using standard addition.

• Absolute quantification of estrogenized serum proteins will

also be conducted.
