Syllabus
Advanced Statistics in Social Research Department of Sociology(研一)
Fu-Jen University Fall, 2009
Course Description:
This is a course in multivariate statistical techniques, including a good overview and new topics introduction. The central issue is how to use quantitative information to obtain answers to theoretically derived questions. We will consider certain types of theoretical statements and learn how to use international and survey social data to get good estimates of theoretically important parameters.
