四、 Course Description:
This course provides general principles and concepts in nursing administration, management, and leadership. Through lecture and discussion, the students are prepared for future roles and
functions of the nurse manager within the health care delivery system.
五、 Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, the students will demonstrate the ability to:
1. Recognize the process of nursing management.
2. Identify organizational structure and culture.
3. Identify principles and concepts of nursing administration in the health care delivery system.
4. Identify styles of leadership and components of effective leadership.
5. Recognize approach of Human resource management.
6. Understand the process of the methods for conflict management and human resource management.
7. Understand the process in writing of a nursing project.
8. Understand the operations of cost and budget within hospitals.
9. Identify the management skills for improving the quality of nursing care.
