-Course Description:

This course is designed to fit in the need of students of intermediate English level in training their listening as well as speaking skills. The textbook used for this

purpose is Tune In Book 2, which offers interesting daily topics, “listen-and-learn audio” and “extension speaking practice.”

-Requirements:

1. Be careful of your attendance. You will have the right to be absent or to take sick leave from classes for only three times in all. If you go beyond this limit, you will have no right to the midterm or final exams. The only exception is when you come across serious accidents or incidents.

2. Do not be late for classes. Being late for one or more than one hour equals to one absence.

3. Any group assigned to prepare a conversation (oral presentation) will have to do their task on the set class time. No delayed presentation is allowed.

4. No cheating allowed on exams or quizzes.

5. Be attentive in class. Your attentiveness will give you a chance to boost your grade.

-Grading:

1. Quizzes---30%

2. Midterm exam---35%

3. Final exam---35%

4. Attentiveness in class---extra 10 points at most 5. Oral presentation---extra 10 points at most
