本計畫旨在對喘息服務做一整體性評估，並針對喘息服務未來在台灣的發展方向與管理策略發展提出具體 性建議。本計劃將以台北市衛 生局所補助的暫托（喘息）服務為研究對象，收集各種相關資料，其具體目 的如下： 1.建立喘息服務基本資料庫，作為政策方向與營 運策略的參考。 2.進行喘息服務的效益評估。 3.了解使用喘息服務要因，並建立喘息服務使用模式。 本計畫之重要性在於提供決策者 有關喘息服務系統性資料，能讓決策者更了解喘息服務的效益與其在整個 長期照護體系內所扮演的角色。同時本計劃能在台北市推動喘 息服務的初期即開始收集並彙集基本資料， 提供政府機關，長期照護機構，及研究單位參考。

• 英文摘要

The purpise of this reseaarch project is to perform a comprehensive evaluation of the respite caare program in Taipie, and at the saame time offer recommendations in its future development. In specific, it has three aims: 1.Establish respite care daatabaase as a reference for policy making and operational improvement. 2.perform an efficaacy evaluation of respote care. 3.Wstablish a respite service utilization model. The significance of this reseaarch lies in its contribution to policy makers, in providing refereces for decision making. Furthermore, it allows us to understand the role of respite caare in the long-term care system.
