在大學生問卷調查方面,過去台灣有關新聞倫理的研究多半集中在倫理內容和倫理帶來的影響,
本研究以台灣新聞與傳播相關科系 1666 名學生為對象,探討新聞倫理教育、是否修習媒介實習課、
以及從事新聞的動機,探討新聞倫理課對於學生的新聞倫理實踐手段的影響。結果發現,台灣新聞傳 播科系學生普遍對媒介表現不滿,最關注的議題依序為「新聞不正確」(91.3%)、「新聞不誠實」
(90.5%)、「報導誇大」(89.0%)、「侵犯個人隱私」(83.9%)、「太多暴力內容」(76.8%)、「太多色情 內容」(75.8%)、「缺乏深度」(73.3%)、和「有預設立場」(72.8%),這反映了當前相關科系學生對 新聞品質的評價相當負面。
另一重要發現是,新聞系學生在採訪手段和追求新聞來源上出現明顯的自由主義傾向,只有在新
新聞科系大學生與一般民眾核心倫理價值觀所影響的新聞倫理觀,是否與前述的新聞專業倫理有重疊
