5.3. 研究限制與未來研究方向
因地域因素,研究樣本在地域上大多以臺灣為主,國外樣本偏少,建議後續的研究 者,可擴大研究的區域及族群,以更廣泛且更豐富的樣本進行相關研究,使研究的推論 能更加精確。
受限於 Facebook 平台對外部應用程式的限制,在使用資料的擷取因權限問題而具 有一定程度的受限,若使用者對功能使用資料權限預作隱私設定,程式擷取上其項目則 會出現遺失值,遺失值過多的資料樣本,本研究為避免干擾結果且無研究價值予以刪除,
這也造成權限設定隱私度過高的使用者未能被納入研究;也由於 Facebook 平台的限制,
所能取得的使用資料為使用者長期累積的資料,若可突破此限制,則可擷取使用者特定 時間段的使用資料,了解寂寞者特定時段的使用行為,長期追蹤觀察更可能可以找出寂

寞與使用行為間的頻率或趨勢,更廣泛的探討寂寞感與社群網站使用行為。
由於聚焦於社群網站之使用,本研究未將 Facebook 其他外部應用程式,如小遊戲 使用行為納入研究,後續的研究者若欲擴大研究範圍,可考慮納入此項目。
另外,由於本研究在寂寞者的社群網站使用行為上僅使用客觀性使用資料作為判定 依據,建議後續的研究者未來可加入主觀認定的使用行為,如使用 Facebook 使用強度 量表(Facebook Intensity),以主觀認定和客觀資料共同衡量社群網站使用行為擴大研究 範圍。
