24.8°C,相較現今台南七股地區冬季 18.4°C 的海水水溫(2008-2011 年), 明顯溫度偏高。而夏季在氧同位素數值方面,遺址殼體平均為-5.38‰,與 現生殼體平均-4.37‰相差達 1.01‰,顯示遺址當時夏季受淡水影響相較現 今為大,嘉南地區夏季雨量 400 年來有減少的可能。
