1. 將分析上部 126.72m 的 ODP1115B 岩芯單一浮游有孔蟲 G.

sacculifer 殼體氧碳同位素結果,參考獨立年代控制點辨識出海洋氧 同位素1 到 81 階,建立 ODP1115B 氧同位素地層框架,再對東赤道 太平洋岩芯ODP site 677 進行進行峰值對應,建立 ODP1115B 岩芯 上部二百二十萬的年代架構。

2. 將 ODP1115B 岩芯所建立氧同位素年代地層與 ODP677 進行 交叉頻譜分析呈現高度相關,有明顯的100kyr、41kyr、23kyr 的週 期,顯示本岩芯可良好的表現出全球二百萬年以來冰期-間冰期旋回 的氧碳同位素地層記錄。且本岩芯氧同位素年代地層從 100kyr 週期 所過濾出來之濾波顯現出隨時間變化而有不同之強度,從一百萬年 左右開始,氧同位素的100kyr 週期成為主要控制週期,且在五十萬 年之後到現代,100kyr 週期更加明顯,與前人所提到的 MPR 及 MBE 事件的特徵吻合,顯示本岩芯適合作為研究此兩事件的材料。

3. ODP1115B 岩芯的平均沉積速率為 5.8cm/kyr,且呈現沉積速 率減緩但碳酸鈣比例增加的趨勢,推測造成此部分陸源成份逐漸減 少的原因可能與Woodlark Basin 的張裂活動導致深度逐漸增加有 關。

4. 本研究之浮游有孔蟲氧同位素記錄與全球冰川體積發展有 良好的對應。而本岩芯最近一次冰盛期以來氧同位素變化幅度為 1.9‰,水文狀況較暖池中心不穩定,暗示暖池南緣自上次冰期以來 鹽度增加1.8~2.2p.s.u.,而此效應可能來自蒸發量的增加或因 ITCZ 在較長時間尺度下會發生偏移所造成的降雨量減少。

5. 將本岩芯的氧同位素與暖池核心的岩芯 ODP806 浮游有孔蟲 G. sacculifer 氧同位素比較,兩岩芯站位的氧同位素差值自岩芯底部

2.2Ma 到 1.7Ma 逐漸減少,自 1.7Ma 到現代則相對平穩的上下振盪,

暗示暖池邊緣與暖池中心在1.7Ma 水文狀態發生改變,推測到了 1.7Ma 之後,暖池不僅在海表溫上成形,在垂直水體也已發展成現 代暖池的模式。

6. 將本岩芯的氧同位素與岩芯 ODP806 氧同位素相減的數值進 行頻譜分析,可發現兩岩芯氧同位素差值呈現地軸傾斜角變化41kyr 的週期較100kyr 及 23kyr 明顯,推論 ∆18O1115-806出現明顯41kyr 週 期,可能由於地球自轉軸頃角較小時,南半球中緯度海環環流增強,

並導致更多暖水水團疊加至暖池地區,使暖池範圍變大。

7. 本岩芯呈現冰期時表水生產力較低,間冰期表水生產力較 高,而SEC 是暖池表面溫暖海水的主要來源,自末次冰盛期的資料 (Koutavas et al., 2002)顯示赤道太平洋水文類似 El Niño 的狀態,信 風強度與沃克環流減弱,SEC 相對減弱,赤道向西運行營養物質的 能力降低,可能為此區域冰期生產力降低的原因之一。

8. 在本岩芯中觀測到 δ13C 數值自氧同位素第 13 階的極大值 1.5‰(δ13Cmax Event)下降至第 12 階的 0.4‰,早於氧同位素地層第 11 階與12 階之間的 MBE 事件相同的現象,與 Wang et al. (2003)於南 海岩芯中觀測到結果相似,可推論在此時期全球冰帽體積變化幅度 的增加並非單純天體軌道力的改變所控制,進而推論全球碳儲存庫 的擾動可能扮演關鍵因素。但本岩芯碳同位素呈現的變化量,與 Wang et al.(2003)於南海觀測到的變化量並不完全相同,顯示出碳同
