1. Status update is not only text content but also include photo. In status update, we can see the hiding content and his/her character in it.
Self-report: people like to report their status to their friends. They want their friends to know what they are doing. For example: “I’m traveling to Japan”.
Sometimes they would like to tell their friends about their stories or experiences such as “Yesterday a restaurant called me for free photo shooting by exchange to give me a credit under photo, I have to say no because my team have to eat!”.
Announcement: Some people would like to be the first to spread the news or giving some information to their friends such as “Duchess of Cambridge has given a baby girl” or “Tomorrow has a free make up class by MAC for first 20 customers only”
Blogging: Some users like to tell everyone about their day went and just go on and on. What they did all day such as routine experience or share their own diaries.
Show-off: People who tried to boast their accomplishment. Some of them tell their friends directly such as “ Three big companies are offering me jobs, what should I do?” but some of them express it indirectly such as they will use a photo instead the words. They try to impress other people by showing how good they are at doing something. On the other hand, some users love to show what they have such as show their luxury things etc.
Complaint and Criticism: There is a lot of negative thinking from this kind of users. Their status updates tend to rally others to complain about the same things that they are complaining about such as job, traffic etc. They also would like to criticize for something such as government.
Thought and Feeling: Some users use their wall post to release their emotions, ideas or release some depressions.

Self-pity: This type is quite same as complaint but there is deferent between them. Self-pity seems to complaint themselves that they do not satisfy the things that they do or they are such as “Why my boss always mad to me?”
Puzzle: This type of posting may want to attract their friends to ask more information about what’s going on with them such as “I’m still waiting for that time…”
Quote/Lyric/Philosophy: This status update is not their own words but when they post it on their wall post, it usually relates to their situations or their thoughts such as “Be Truthful, Gentle and Fearless- Gandhi”
2. Self-photography: Many people especially eastern people like selfie and post it to their wall post. There are many kinds of selfie that we arranged to this type such as candid camera, body part, group selfie etc.
Selfie and Candid photography(self): Many users especially eastern people such as Asia really love to selfie (自拍). A selfie is a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. There is also some popular upload their own self photo is a candid photograph. This is a photograph captured through motion mostly, without creating a posed appearance. This is achieved by avoiding prior preparation of the subject and by either surprising the subject or by not distracting the subject during the process of taking photos (Candid Photography In Australia An Interview With Andrew Stark". Urban Photography Art. 2010. Retrieved 4 July 2013). According to candid photograph’s meaning, it seems to they were token photos by they do not create their posed appearance, but actually
some of them try to selfie like a candid photograph or ark their friend took their photos look like they do not intend to create their pose.
Body Part: In this thesis, we separate this type in 2 kinds are body part in usual condition and another one is body part in unusual condition. For usual condition is people who like to upload their good shape photo such as six packs, nice legs or beautiful hands with new nail polish. For unusual condition, there are some people like to post photo when they got injure such as cutting themselves, bruise themselves etc.

3. Advertisement and Recommend: Some people like to selling products on their Facebook. Some of user love to share their good/bad experience (WOM) about product or service to their friends.
Selling product:Some of users try to sell their products on their Facebook. They advertise their product to their friends. The products are not only their own product but also included second-hand products, any products or services. They did not open the official page or web page for selling because they sell it for occasionally. In this paper, we focus only private Facebook, not focus on public or business Facebook account.
WOM: This type is different from the upper because this one did not get any benefit from that products or brands. This type of users will say about their own good or bad experiences with the products or services.
4. Kid: It is interesting that some parents really love to post their children’
photo/video on Facebook such as kid’s activity.
5. Animal (pet): some people love to show their pet. They want to show how cute it is.
6. Seeking information asking for help: a lot of people use their Facebook for seeking information, asking for suggestion from their friends.
7. Gathering and Party: Family gathering, Friend reunion and company farewell etc.
8. Food and desert: many people like to post about food, dessert. It is interesting that we can separate this type in two categories: Yummy food and Healthy food.
Although both of them are about food and dessert, but we can see hiding message in the post such as “I concern my heath” or “I really enjoy eating”.

9. Check-in: Facebook has some functions which help Facebook is more interesting than other social media such as check-in function. Some of people check-in many times a day. Some of them really want to show where they are, but some of them check-in just for join the events.
10. Activity interested: some of people like to post their activity interested. They want to show you what they do and how much they love to do or interested such as reading, cooking, exercise, traveling etc.
11. Share link/page/website: this type is from other source. Users do not post or create by themselves. They repost the link from other source. There are many kinds of contents that people share on social media. For example: News, YouTube video, funny clip video, gossip news, sport match, Essay article, Travel, Emotional advertisement and fashion etc.
