This thesis has provided empirical findings on the benefits of chatbot-human interactions and the perceptions of several sheltering features intending to support the overall chat experience. With the development of chatbot technology, the potential of chatbots as language partners for language learners is particularly promising. Language teachers can incorporate chatbots into their curriculum after considering the caveats and suggestions made in this study and bring language learners a purpose and a platform for meaningful communication especially when one-on-one human language partners are not feasible.

Cleverbot

Voice is now active”,
