Pair up students and each student fill out

one-week activity plan form from Sunday (January

6th) to Saturday (January 12th) and shared with their partner. Teacher choose some volunteers to present.

4. Language focus

Teacher is going to point out the mistakes that students made during discussion or other

language issue and briefly share the daily routine of students from other countries.

2. Pre-task

Students are in groups. Using a little white board to write one of the vocabulary, and disclose the word to the class at the same time. The rule is that not to choose the same word of other teams.

Praise the students who make a sentence in English, e.g. I will go tomorrow/

Listen to a short article in the textbook (reading time 2), the students are in pairs, they are going to write or draw at least 4 pages of comic book about what they are going to do and present the story out loud.

4. Post-task

Praise students if they finished the worksheet.

Comment on the comic books and give advices of any grammatical errors and focus on language.

Bingo game: Student write the vocabulary on the 3*3 Bingo card. Students are in pair. Each student will take turn to make a sentence based on the card they draw (the subject cards).

3. Task cycle

Students are in groups. Choose one of the activities that they are planning to do. Take the envelope of that activity (envelops are limited in numbers). Complete the task of the particular activity. For example: if students are going to see a movie, they need to buy tickets, buy food or search the movie timetable online…etc. Students need to complete the task and finish the

worksheets provided by the teacher. They can use all the resources they can in class. After they finished the task, present it to the class.

They are going to brain storm ideas of what they are going to do.

Each group make the list of words into verb phrases and practice saying the sentences.

Each group then say the sentences out loud, other groups can guess the event by using the 5Ws.
