As mentioned before, we are a food delivery company that prepares delicious and healthy meals on a daily basis. Through our website, our customers will be able to see three different meal plans that we offer (Classic, Training, Weight-loss) and select the meal plan that best meets their needs. On our website, each customer will be able to create a profile where they will enter their gender, date of birth, starting weight, goal weight, final goal, and activities that they enjoy. The customer will also be able to let us know where they wish their meals to be delivered and if at any time it is more convenient for them to change locations, they may do so with a day’s notice. The personal profile has two purposes, the first purpose is that it provides the customer with a history of their meal plans, payment information, order history, starting and end goal. The customer will also be able to make any modifications to their meal plans or profile at any point in time.
For My Chef, the personal profile allows us to track the progress of our customers and to see how we can help them reach their end goal. Since we will be sending a semimonthly news bulletin, the information in our customers’ profile will help us create bulletins that answer specific questions that they might have as well as to motivate them to continue their healthy habits.
3.2. Team
Accounting Specialist - They will be in charge of providing all the financial support to My Chef. It is his responsibility to confirm that all the payments have been successfully made.
He will develop and maintain regular reports of all costs and sales. Monthly recommendations and suggestion will be made on how to improve our processes to be more efficient. The account

specialist will also ensure to pay all suppliers in a timely manner as well as being in charge of all governmental operational responsibilities.
Logistic Coordinator (LC)– This person will be in charge of checking all of the orders placed.
Once they confirm the meal plan and the dietary restrictions, they will give this information to the chef in order to create a weekly meal plan. The LC will also be in charge of doing the purchases and mapping out the delivery route for the next day.
Chef- Our chef will have knowledge of healthy eating habits and he will prepare weekly meal plans that fit with the three menus that we are offering. It is imperative that he has an understanding of recommended sizes, portions and creation of balanced meals. The Chef is in charge of creating weekly meal plans and ensuring that we have enough inventory and supplies to meet with the demands.
General Assistants – In the first two years we will only have one to two people who will assist the Chef around the kitchen. The amount of people depends on the demands that we have at the time. The general assistants will be hired on a part time basis since they will only be working the morning shift. It is their responsibility to clean and prepare all the food prior to cooking, to maintain a clean kitchen, and to pack all of the meals correctly.
Delivery Officer- Our delivery officer will also be employed on a part time basis since he will only work in the afternoon when all the meals need to be delivered to the customers’ homes, offices or sporting facilities. The delivery officer will use the company van to deliver all the meals and he must ensure to following the delivery schedule created by the logistics coordinator in order for all our customers to receive their meals within the stated time frame.
3.3. Location
My Chef will be based in Honduras. Initial operations will begin in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. In the future, as we gain more traction and awareness among our target market, we

Since we are a food delivery service, we will use a family house as our administrative offices as well as where all of our food production will be done. By using a family house, we are reducing our rent costs and as we see the business expand, we will move into larger facilities.
3.4. Distribution Strategy
Our main offices are located in Col. Tepeyac which gives us an advantage since it is in a very central location that has easy access to the main highways in Tegucigalpa. (Please Refer to Appendinx 9.1 Map of Main Office and Distribution ) We selected Col. Tepeyac not only because of the convenience of location but also because of its distance from the following important zones:
1. Financial Zone (BAC, FICOHSA, FICENSA, BASA, CNBS), 2. High-end Gymnasiums (EREI, B1, Cybex)
3. Main commercial zone (Multiplaza, La Galeria, El Dorado, Las Cascadas, Novacentro) Coverage will be given to the following zones by use of our minivan:

Lomas del Guijarro and surrounding area

his office, our coverage of these zones almost completely guarantees us that we will be able to deliver in a timely manner. As we grow we will expend the distribution zone to be able to reach more of our clients.

At My Chef we are targeting a niche market because we have identified the specific needs and unique traits that our customers have. We know that our customers are individuals who are interested in a healthy eating lifestyle but are having difficulty following this because of time constraints and other commitments. We will be catering to the following customers:
Athletes- In the past 5 years Honduras has seen an increase of participation in sports competitions not only locally but internationally as well. Our targeted athletes are people that are very committed to sports and who need to properly fuel their bodies in order to be able to perform at their best during competitions. Athletes need diets that are high in protein in order to boost performance, burn fat, and to build lean muscles.
Since training is very time consuming, the majority of athletes do not have time to be counting carbohydrates, fats, proteins. We also encounter the novice athlete who has no idea how to properly fuel their body to perform at their best, so we are here to assist them on their new journey.
Health-Conscious- These individuals are people that enjoy eating healthy food and are conscious of the positive effects that eating clean has on their bodies. These people do not necessarily want to lose weight, but they are happy with their current weight and just wish to maintain it while supplying their body with the nutrients it needs. Now a day, more restaurants are providing options for the health-conscious niche market, but the majority only focus on salads. Our health-conscious consumer loves food and they want a healthy option to an unhealthy meal. They lean more towards organic and non-processed food because they are conscious of the benefits this has and to the health risks
