Suggestions for Future Research

The future research studies were recommended to explore the relationship between public bank employees’ personality and job stress. According to the research findings in this study, “be strict to selves” was a job stressor among the participants. However, this finding was not identified in questionnaire results. Several researchers had found that personality was related with job stress (Subburaj, Shunmugasundaram, Sekar & Sumathi, 2012). So, personality test was suggested to complement job stress experience of questionnaire.

Moreover, future researchers were encouraged to investigate public bank employees’ work and family conflict from female and male’s perspective. Because that only female participants, especially those married female participants in this study mentioned that work and family conflict was one of the job stressor while none of the male participants encounter work and family conflict. So future studies could discuss more about if female public bank employees have a fierce work and family conflict than male employees.
