Chapter 5 Conclusions and Suggestions

5.2 Suggestions

5.2.2 Future research directions

Based on the results, this study obtained: (1) using regression to check H1 to H3, and found that only H2 was not supported, so H9, H12, H15, and H18 about moderating effects were not analyzed, (2) these results occurred maybe sample size was not sufficient, and then influenced the research results in this study. Thus, the researcher will try to collect more data to analyze in future study, and will hope to obtain the more accurate results.

The items of exploratory organizational learning in the questionnaire were not enough. Because several studies (Belderbos, Faems, Leten, & Van Looy, 2010; Schildt, Maula, & Keil, 2005) have discussed exploitative organizational learning. In future research direction, the researcher will use individual and organizational factors on both organizational learning styles (i.e. exploratory and exploitative organizational learning) through HLM.

Because both styles represent organizational learning, the results will more complete for the concepts of organizational learning in future research.
