The Study of the Resisting Reform Tendency of Employees on Human Resource Management Measures and Recognition of Market

ABSTRACT

This study intends to understand the impact of employee’s attitudinal tendency toward three alternative programs concern with privatization. Questionnaire respondents focus on the employees of Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation. These three programs named: the employee stock share option, the beneficial retirement, the switch business training. By analyzing the present situation of TTLC human resource management and offer some constructive suggestions to TTLC for privatizing more smoothly. Expectantly, these suggestions can be useful paradigms to other state-owned enterprise’ privatization. This study has some findings about TTLC as follows: ? Employees have known about the trend of market globalization. ? Employees disapproved of the employee stock share option. ? Employees trend to join in the switch business training. ? Employees more agree to the beneficial retirement program and willing to realize its content. This study also has some constructive suggestions to TTLC; its employees; and labor union as follows:

For TTLC: ? To establish a sound management team ? To construct operation crisis cognition ? To advocate privatization program

? To renew payment system ? To cultivate distribution and marketing professionals For employee: ? To realize competitive environment changing ? To enhance hardship cognition ? To cultivate personal second specialty ? To promote personal value ? To make good use of these beneficial programs during privatization For labor union: ? Labor union play a good role of communication between managers and employees
