課程目標(Course Objectives)

Objective : This is a general English course designed to provide students with a framework for increasing essential English language skills and to help students develop their competence and confidence in English as well.

Course Description: The classroom activities include lectures, group discussion, and listening &

speaking practice, etc. For reading, in addition to the readings of the textbook, some supplementary readings are introduced. For writing, outline and summary writings are emphasized as well as discussion of writing structure and organization. Listening and speaking practices are also given to help students develop their basic skills needed for following and participating in a conversation.
