剖腹產決策過程中女性身體自主權初探

在台灣的高剖腹產率之下,討論剖腹產的相關研究中,產婦的以自主權卻很少被討論到。中 外研究均指出:影響剖腹產進行的因素有許多,包括醫療及非醫療因素,近年來,由於 消費者意識及女性意識興起,開始重視女性自身的權益。

本研究目的,在於從產婦的角度,探討剖腹產的決策過程中,女性身體自主權受到哪些因素 及權力影響,產婦的剖腹產決策過程中,身體自主權是呈現何種面貌。

本研究以質性研究法,以 10 位採行剖腹產手術的產婦為研究對象,針對剖腹產的決策過程 中女性身體自主權作深入訪談,以訪談內容為主要分析資料。

研究結果發現:( 1 )醫療體制為產婦身體的主人,( 2 )先生為產婦身體的主人,( 3 ) 宗族家長為產婦身體的主人,( 4 )當醫療權體制遇上父權體制─醫療妥協。

在剖腹產決策過程中,女人的身體身現在「想像中先生的窺視慾」「傳宗接代的繁殖慾」

「醫療體制中缺席的身體自主權」中,且以上三者呈現共犯結構,互相掩護協助,牢牢 的壓制住女人的身體自主權。女人的身體主權,是完全缺席的。

本研究依研究發現,提出下列建議:

1. 確實執行由產婦簽署同意書

2. 醫學教育養成中,需加強對性別教育的重視 3. 女性檢康充權的提昇

4. 擬定適合婦女需要且明確的健康政策。
