The assessment paper comprises tasks or activities to ensure that major aspects of learning and teaching are covered and facilitate integrative use of the language.

The activities are appropriately contextualised and related to learners’ experiences and prior knowledge.

 Adequate use of different text types is considered.

 Open-ended questions are set in the reading tasks to stimulate critical thinking and creativity.

Assessment mode is not confined to pen-and-paper only.
