授課目標：使學生瞭解海洋微生物相關研究，並能將海洋微生物知識應用於生物技術領域之研究和 開發上。
課程範圍:
海洋微生物泛指在海洋環境中生存的真菌、細菌、微藻類和部份原生生物，這些微生物可能生存在 海水中、底泥、海中其他生物的體表或腸道、臟器，以及海中固體物或建築物上：例如各類岩石、鑽井 台、各類漁具、漁網…等。本課程範圍主要介紹海洋微生物之多樣性，以及重要海洋微生物種類以及 其各種應用案例，使學生能有良好的海洋微生物專業知識和應用基礎。
授課方式:
以口授、討論及以及案例報告為主，並配合講義及幻燈片以輔助教學。
