Research, Projects
2001/7~ 2002/7
Color Management System and Color Appearance Models
Special Project I and II advised by Prof. Chiou-Shann Fuh in Computer Vision Group. I did research on solutions to retain color consistency of images reproduction under different environments and on various media.
2001/9~ 2002/1
Automatic Two-Dimensional Face Morphing
Term project in Computer Graphics. I designed and implemented a program to produce lively intermediate images automatically. This project won the 2nd best term project of fall 2001
2002/1~ 2002/7
Image Reconstruction with Improved Super-Resolution Algorithm
Project of Computer Vision Group. I and co-authors developed a system that reconstructed high-resolution images from a sequence of low-resolution images. It kept a minimal number of low-resolution images and eliminated useless ones to improve the quality while reducing the processing time.
2002/1~ 2002/7
Painterly Rendering
Term project in Virtual Reality. I designed and implemented a program to display real pictures in painterly ways by simulating traditional painting methods.
2002/1~ 2002/7
Neural Network-Based Face Detection
Term project in Pattern Analysis and Classification. I and co-authors developed a system to detect faces and trained it with face and nonface images in bootstrap algorithm.
