第二節 台灣廠商發展建議

這麼一來,消費者對於燈具壽命的敏感度可能會降低。而且 LED 晶片上台灣廠商 技術仍處落後,一夕之間要追上難度很高,但若是可以先在藍海中佈局,也可以 爭取專利交互授權或者是授權使用,台灣廠商可以學習大廠的技術並累積經驗,

進而慢慢發展研發能力。

肆、從中游模組切入 LED 照明供應鏈

台灣 LED 廠商雖缺乏晶片、磊晶的核心專利,但擁有 LED 照明系統光學設 計、LED 封裝、電源模組、光電模組之相關專利與技術,配合台灣在光電半導體 的技術優勢,LED 照明產業鏈中游模組將是台灣廠商切入 LED 照明市場的利基。

在 LED 照明中,驅動 IC、電源控制的設計是 LED 燈具的關鍵,這是台灣 LED 廠 商的機會所在,隨著新的光源技術成熟,中游模組技術也是台灣廠商重回照明產 業的一個跳板。

總而言之,台灣 LED 廠商與其自己發展品牌,不如以代工的方式與既有的傳 統照明品牌廠商合作,如此可以更加迅速的搶佔市場,也中國市場廣大,與傳統 照明廠商合作更是確保了下游的出海口。且歐美大廠目前也才正在發展中國的在 地化,往中低階產品發展,中國廠商面臨更大的威脅,因此,台灣 LED 廠商與中 國傳統照明廠商合作將是雙贏的局面,台灣 LED 廠商藉此跨入照明產業,而中國 傳統廠商也可以發展 LED 照明。而台灣廠商也擁有 LED 照明產業中游模組的技 術,除了 LED 元件外,中游模組會是台灣廠商切入照明產業的利基。

過去台灣 LED 產業仰賴面板業的發展,但隨著發光效率的提昇,也促成了 LED 技術進入一般照明應用,這也是台灣進入照明產業的機會,放眼廣大的照明 市場。
