(At the beginning, there is word.),其中所謂的
在Stephen Weiner的“Faster Than a Speeding Bullet: The Rise of the Graphic Novel”書中寫到 近代的第一本「圖像小說」是由資深漫畫家Will Eisner撰寫與繪畫出來的。
5 原文是這樣說的:“…listening to the water…the voice of Life, the voice of Being, of the eternally Becoming.”

Contract with God and Other Tenement Stories”為半自傳體以外,其餘的兩部著作“Persepolis”
“Editorial History in the Graphic Novel Rethinking History”, Hugo Frey & Benjamin Noys, 2002, p.255–260

Understanding comics: Scott McCloud on TED.com (http://www.ted.com/talks/scott_mccloud_on_comics)

在 Michael A. Chaney的“Terrors of the Mirror and the Mise en Abyme of Graphic Novel
François
是這個問題:「為什麼在圖像小說裡有如此多的鏡像畫面出現?」Why are there so many mirror moments in graphic novels? “Terrors of the Mirror and the Mise en Abyme of Graphic Novel Autobiography” Michael A. Chaney, College Literature, 2011, p21-‐44

concept—a self-‐consciousness prerequisite to personal narrative.” Charles Hatfield, “Alternative Comics: An Emerging Literature”, University Press of Mississippi. 2005, p117
19 David B. 在此篇文章的訪談裡曾這樣説:“I didn't want at all to do something realistic, says David B. I was not interested in making a reconstruction of the events. I prefer to tell my feelings.” Andrew D. Arnold, 2005, TIME (http://content.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1015442,00.html#ixzz2uINBCpSs)
