站 1840 年麻州由民主黨人士獲選為州長，民主黨主義員在主義會提案從廢止州教育委員
會，引發論辯及表決，在有驚無險中保住州教育委員會組織。的41 年民主黨人士仍 不死心，再度在主義會提案廢止州教育委員會組織，經表決仍未通過 (Culver，1969:
l鈣; Hinsdale, 1900: 130; Peabody, 1969: 153) - 1842 年康州州長由民主黨人士出
任，局勢對州教育委員會不利，民主黨人士在議會提案廢止州教育委員會組織，
經議會表決通過廢止案，康州的公立學校教育發展受到阻礙，直到 1845 年才恢復 其建制( Griff]血， 1928: 72-73; Lannie,1974: 71; Morse,1933: 154-160) 。
