第二節 研究限制

一、資料完整性限制

交通事故其原始資料中,僅記錄時間、地點與牽涉車輛等基本資料,並無事 故當下之環境描述(例如是否下雨、光照程度等),導致相關氣象變數僅能透過 氣象資料所提供數據予以估計,期許未來交通事故資料或會更加全面且詳細記錄 事故情況。

另一個限制則為A3 類交通事故資料之不完整,由於並非全部 A3 類事故資 料皆會建檔,導致該類資料或存在低報問題,故本研究結果僅適用於 A1 及 A2 類等交通事故資料。

二、測站與方法限制

由於目前僅有 77 個中央測站41,但臺灣共有 368 個鄉鎮市區,故絕大多數 地區其相關氣象及空氣品質資料皆須透過估計始能取得。在推估數據的方法上,

建議後續研究應可使用更好的推估方法,或能提高推估數據的準確度。
