本研究彙整各種情緒模型提出一種新的視覺化即時性音樂情緒表示方式，有別 於一般即時性研究將音樂對只對應到單一情緒，這邊採用四種基本的情緒成分比例 來表示，在強烈單一情緒的音樂中也能瞥見細微的其他情緒成分變動。
與 Zentner 的 GEM 模型比較最大問題在於，大家對於情緒形容詞的理解不同。
這也同樣存在於受測者認知的情緒形容詞和我們預想的感覺間，也是分析結果造成 差異的主因，受測者的對音樂的學習程度也同樣是尚未考慮的變數，對於有音樂學 習經驗的人在聽音樂時候對音樂內容感受的重點可能不如一般平常人而是更具學 習經驗而有不同感受。
本研究系統較心理學家的情緒模型優勢在於測試資料可以是使用者自行定義 的歌曲庫，每個使用者可以以自己感受的情緒音樂片段輸入系統去建立屬於各自專 屬的分類模型，這也可以大大降低主觀感受的認知落差。
