In this research 20 Chinese Medicine curricula from 14 different universities were compared in regard of different issues. Although Chinese Medicine education has reached a certain standard, there is still enough space for improvement. China Medical University provides the most complete CM curricula among the investigated universities. The curricula at CMU were modernised by developing new CM courses as well as teaching students a solid basis of Western Medicine as a useful tool for a CM physician.
The differences and similarities which were shown in this research can provide a basic platform for the discussion of CM education, recognition and improvement worldwide. This research can also be taken into consideration for creating a global guideline for the education of Chinese Medicine.

世界各國中醫教育制度之比較

摘要
中醫近年來在全世界越來越受到重視，儘管在許多國家已有多所 大學和學院針對中醫師培育設置相關教學制度，但彼此在課程與學分 規劃上存在相當之歧異。為了瞭解全球中醫教育的現況，分析各制度 的優缺點，本研究選取約 20 所有正規中醫高等教育機構之教育課程，
就其修業年限、科目、上課時數、入學資格、學位取得條件，及是否 需要經由考試取得執照才能成為合格的中醫師各方面進行比較。
研究結果發現：大多數大學提供的中醫課程是五年制，取得學士
或碩士學位的修業年限介在四到八年間。台灣的中國醫藥大學與長庚
大學是全世界唯一提供八年制的中西醫雙學位的大學；中國大陸除了
五年制的學士課程，另提供七年制的學碩士課程。這些課程主要可分
成以下類別：「中醫基礎課目、中醫古典醫籍、中醫臨床課目、西
醫，其他課目與實習」等。中醫課程的上課總時數介於 1200~3000 小
時，而西醫課程的上課總時數則介於 500~4800 小時。在中醫實習課
程的安排存有相當大的差異，澳洲 RMIT 大學規劃為 13 週，但南京中
醫藥大學的規劃則長達 52 週。其中教育設計以「培養現代中醫師」為
目標的台灣中國醫藥大學分別在在中西醫雙學位課程及五年制和七年
制的中醫課程安排 48 週及 32 週的西醫實習課程，在全球中醫教育制
度中獨樹一幟。本研究希望藉由呈現中醫教育的差異性與相似性，提
供認識、探討並進一步改善全球中醫教育的基礎平台。
