Chapter 5 : Conclusion
5.3 Limitations and Future Studies
There are several limitations of this research that should be considered, as well as directions for future studies correlated to similar topics or industries that need further investigation.
1. Demographical data is not well balanced in terms of teaching experience and ET/LS experience for lecturers; current school status and ET/LS experience for students.
Additionally, there is a lack of information about age and gender of subjects. It is also expected that much more meaningful results would be derived if larger number of subjects could be accessed.
2. Since several items from the scale were deleted to increase the model fit, better measures of system and user attributes should be developed to improve the consistency of the total model.
3. According the survey statistics, as all subjects are quite familiar with Internet and technology, the sample characteristics observed here may not be interesting to some readers, who pay attention to users with very little computer experience.
44
4. For future studies, it may be useful to examine the effectiveness of ET/LS in promoting learning and whether such systems can provide as good as or better learning experience than provided by traditional classes in universities of Ho Chi Minh City.
5. If more universities in Ho Chi Minh City with larger number of participants as qualified subjects take part in the research, then it can be investigated whether ranking of university has any effect on users’ adoption of ET/LS.

APPENDIX Appendix A: Formal Research Questionnaire for Lecturers English Version
Dear Sir or Madam,
This questionnaire is used for an academic research about the determinants of e-teaching/learning system adoption in colleges of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The general goal of this study is to investigate the acceptance of both lecturers and students to adopt E-Teaching/Learning system, as well as to compare the differences in those two types of users. The idea is whether the technological and psychological aspects influence the users’ attitude, and eventually has any effect on the users’ adoption intentions. In addition, the types of users are also addressed and examined since they may have different impact on different types of lecturers and learners who adopt Teaching/Learning system. Your knowledge and experiences for E-Teaching/Learning system will undoubtedly contribute enormously to the data collection of this research. This questionnaire will be collected anonymously. Please feel safe to fill it as this is for academic purposes only. We appreciate your kindly assistance. Thank you so much!
