Today we set up our class’
Christmas game. This is how it works.
You pick someone’s name out of a hat, and you have to buy a gift for that person. The gift should cost less than NT$300. You can’t tell anyone whose name you have. Also, you can’t tell them what you want. Instead, you can help people guess what you want by describing it in three words. We all made notes and put them on the wall of our classroom.
I want a new scarf, so I described that.
I have to buy a gift for Bobby. On his note, he wrote the gift he wanted was “small, green, and living.” That’s easy to guess!
December 24
Today we gave each other the gifts.
Bobby really liked his plant, so I’m happy I guessed right. I got a nice, red scarf from Hunter, so he must have understood my note. Everyone else was happy, too. We had a lot of fun playing the game. I hope we play it again next year!
