The items with the lowest means are both EMID_1 and EMID_4 (M=4.38), the items represented the questions “Because I think that a university education will help me better prepare for the career I have chosen” and “Because I believe that a few additional years of education will improve my competence as a worker.” Respondents indicate that they agree that attending school will be beneficial for when they enter the workforce.

Table 4.12 illustrates the variable Intrinsic Motivation- To know’s means and standard deviation. The item observed to be the highest is IMTK_3 (M=4.58), which represents the question “For the pleasure that I experience in broadening my knowledge about subjects which appeal to me.” This shows that majority of respondents are interested in school because of the satisfaction they experience when acquiring new information. The second highest item is IMTK_4 (M=4.35) with the question “Because my studies allows me to continue learn about many things that interest me.” Respondents agree with the question that by going to school, they are able to gain a personal satisfaction by learning about things that sparks an in interest to them.
The lowest item is IMTK_2 (M=28), which represents the question “For the pleasure I experience when I discover new things never seen before.” Compared to the other items, this particular is not as high interest as the others. Students interest is not primarily in this item as shown from the data.

Table 4.13 represents the mean and standard deviation for Intrinsic Motivation- Towards Accomplishments. In relation to this variable, the items with the highest mean are IMTA_2 and IMTA_4, which represent the questions “For the pleasure I experience while surpassing myself in my studies” and " For the pleasure I experience while I am surpassing myself in one of my personal accomplishments” and “Because university allows me to experience a personal satisfaction in my quest for excellence in my studies”. Majority of respondents believe that by engaging in academic activities that results in an output of good performance, they are satisfied.
The item with the lowest mean is IMTA_1 (M=25), which represent the question “For the pleasure I experience while surpassing myself in my studies.” An average amount of respondents agrees with this question.

Determining that students who selected this particular item has no main idea as to why they are currently studying nor do they have the desire to figure out what causes them to do so.
