he suddenly asked me "Are you organizing a baseball team?" In reply,
I said,
"It's not a baseball team,
but it's a bridge." As a matter of fact,
METS is a two-way traffic bridge between the technical leaders of the Republic of China arid the CIE/ USA. This bridge has been built for 15 years,
grows stronger each. time, Incidently we shall celebrate also tonight the 15th Anniversary of METS.For these valuable 15 years

we witnessed Taiwan has focused on importing "CORE" technologies and developing "KEY" industries, She has moved incessantly in the wodd market,

She is emerging from a developing status into an industry-matured nation.The sUccess of Taiwan-the Free China一is attributed to political stability due to its able leadership
