課程目標
本課程深入探討基礎統計公式背後的數學原理，其目的有二: 1)介紹統計公式的 由來，其背後假設，與應用上的限制；2) 有系統地研討機率學，培養學生學習 如財務學，計量經濟學等與”不確定性”(uncertainty)相關領域的能力。本課程 對於有意深造的同學幫助較大。
評分標準
1) 期中考, 30%
