Annex A

Research, Design and international Relationship Activities summarized during employment period from May 5th, 2016 up to August 21st, 2016.

Research and design activities:

Tainan Green Technology park /臺南高鐵產業專用區整體發展規劃委託服務案臺南高鐵產業專用區整體發展規劃委託服務案臺南高鐵產業專用區整體發展規劃委託服務案臺南高鐵產業專用區整體發展規劃委託服務案

• April 2016 commencing preliminary design processes regarding Tainan Green Technology park - Salun project site.

(translating given Chinese ppt. files, studying case studies, looking for preliminary rough solutions).

• May - June 2016 preliminary matter design including heating, cooling, air circulation management and energy balance.

• July - August 2016 calculating shading (canopy design), air circulation, overall mass structure and suitable energy systems to cover overall technology park consumption.

ISETS 2016

• Preparing poster, invitation card, wallpaper, banner and CD graphics for ISETS 2016

International and other activities:

• Joining Energy conference concerning discussions on Tainan Green Technology park May 2016

• Join Erasmus plus and Maria Currie Sklodowska Conference at the ministry of Education Taipei 2016/08/02 referring about Taiwan Visegrad Scholarship, Erasmus + and NSP funding.

• Preparing presentation entry for the ISETS 2016 - Hydropower in Taiwan

• Checking Slovakian professor´s availability for ISETS 2016 as a substitute speakers.

• Gave lecture concerning overall hydropower in Taiwan during summer course lead by prof. Sharma from Purdue University.

• Successfully led negotiations with the dean of Civil Engineering Faculty, dean of Research Center for Integrated Green Energy laboratories - VUKONZE and president of the Technical University of Kosice for possible MoU or Bilateral Agreement with RCETS - NCKU.

• Successfully led negotiations with ITRI and Taipower to join the Tainan Green Technology park.

• Successfully led negotiations with EU to change Visegrad Taiwan Scholarship fund from Chung Hua University to RCETS - NCKU.

• Successfully led negotiation with EU, Technical University of Kosice and Erasmus + coordinators to shift 2017 - 2018 funds from Chung Hua University and ITRI to RCETS - NCKU.

• Successfully shift projects including funding from Chung Hua University, Taipower, CICHE, ITRI and Technical University of Kosice to RCETS - NCKU:

o MUMT development program (Micro Urban Multipurpose Turbine) STUDIO s.r.o., Svf TUKE & ITRI o EEPGC theory (Efficiency Electric Power Grid Circles) a decentralized micro energy model for micro urban

structures including on site RE harvesting, STUDIO s.r.o., Svf TUKE & ITRI

o Taipower, ITRI, STUDIO s.r.o., Civil Engineering Faculty, Technical University of Kosice (Pumped storage power plant feasibility study for variable speed control).

o Taipower, Taian Water Corporation, ITRI, STUDIO s.r.o., CICHE, Civil Engineering Faculty, Technical University of Kosice

Overall hydropower mapping in Taiwan including overall Taiwan´s hydropower potential in detail.

o VMSL - Variable modular system living o WCH - Water cooled house

o HPR - Hydraulic pressure house o WSS - Water supported structure o ASS - Air supported structure

o VTOL - PUTV Vertical Take of Landing Personal Urban Transport Vehicle (Long term personal project since 2015 in cooperation with designers from SKODA)

o The use of suspension as a possible energy harvesting for automobile industry (Project proposal for BMW company) - Electro-Mechanical Suspension System - EMS

o FCL&FUL (Future City Laboratory and Future Urban Laboratory) at the TUKE, Svf

Overall personal evaluation of the giver period

During my relatively short period at the RCETS - NCKU, I have been given the chance to work on the cutting edge project like the above stated Salun area design and I would like to express my deepest gratitude for not only that, but also for the overall chance to get work experience with the National University in Taiwan to prof. Lin Ta-Hui, prof. Chen Yan-Zhong and all the members of the RCETS. Even thou our life opinions differ from each other, I strongly believe that our professional life, research aims and goals will always find a correlation. I wish the RCETS only success and best wishes to all its members.
