F.6 STUDENTS EXPLORE BUSINESS STUDIES

AT HKUST SUMMER CAMP

Business-oriented Form 6 students and their teachers representing 50 local secondary schools will obtain first-hand information on business studies at a summer camp organized by HKUST’s School of Business & Management from 14 to 16 July 1995.

The 147 students and 10 teachers will participate in orientations, information sessions, management games and other activities.

“We want the participants to understand more about careers in Business, about the University, about the facilities we provide and, above all, about the various programmes offered by the School of Business & Management,” said MS Rovena Kwan, Associate Director of Undergraduate Programmes.

“We have received overwhelmingly enthusiastic support from our own students, 29 of whom were chosen to be group leaders or student helpers in the camp. Five of the School’s 1994 graduates will share their experiences of studying at HKUST. We hope the camp participants will share this strong sense of belonging and enthusiasm.”
