課程介紹

分析倫理理論的觀念之形成與傳播倫理問題之探討 1. 先分析倫理的形成,再說明倫理學的各種基礎理論。

2. 解釋何謂專業倫理,何謂傳播專業倫理?

3. 各種傳播媒介之基本倫理精神說明。

4. 分析傳播倫理問題的形成極可能解決方式。

5. 說明分析倫理問題的八個步驟。

6. 由同學發覺各種身邊的倫理問題提出討論。

課程目標:

1. 導引專業倫理方面的認知,提升責任感與道德感。

2. 喚起對倫理情境的想像,提高對倫理情境的敏感度。

3. 協助發現專業倫理問題,培養分析判斷情境與抉擇的技巧。

4. 培養實踐專業倫理及解讀兩難困境的能力。

5. 結合傳統倫理精神與現代倫理的規範,研討未來倫理發展的新方向。

上課態度20% (含個人隨意進出之印象、上課專心程度、討論發表等)

作業及課程要求:

** 個案心得:在傳播倫理網站上,自行下載閱讀一篇文章,或提出個人工作 時所遭遇的實例(媒體上),寫出心得一頁A4。

** 個案分析:學生就目前社會現象提出倫理相關上課內容之步驟分析,上 課時向全班報告,並繳交報告一份(不得少於2000 字)。

* 作業必須於當天上課時繳交,不得遲交

* 每節課之電腦輔助教學與錄影放映設備,由班代開啟與關閉(如需鑰匙請先行

* 上課 30 分鐘內出現算「遲到」,30 分鐘之後算「缺課」;五次及以上遲到者,

扣學期成績10%

* 缺課 3 次者,取消期末考試資格。

"Ethics in Action was created in 1994 in Vancouver, B.C., through a partnership between VanCity Savings Credit Union and The Workplace Ministry Society . . . . Companies with socially responsible practices are experiencing enhanced brand image and reputation, improved financial results, increased loyalty from customers and employees, and reduced regulatory oversight."

Markkula Center for Applied Ethics

From the Center's Mission statement: "Established in 1986, the mission of the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University is to heighten ethical awareness and improve ethical decision-making on campus and in the community at large. . . . The Center promotes ethical decision-making that is guided by moral principles and values, such as respect for persons, justice, and compassion. It does not tell people what to think; but rather, tells people what to think about in making ethical decisions." Includes resources on ethical decision making, as well as links to other resources focusing on ethics.

National Communication Association Credo on Ethical Communication

An outgrowth of the NCA 1999 Conference on Communication Ethics, this site explains the rationale behind the development of a code of ethics in the field and describes the main components of such a code.
