Blue Light

This paper is about how blue light is bad for you. Months of studies and tests have shown that blue light can make it hard for people to sleep; this means your body doesn’t get the rest it needs. This can then

(6)

lead to things like heart problems, feeling unhappy, and getting fat.

Blue light is the light that comes from your phone or computer. We tested two groups of people, and let them do different things before bed: look at a phone or read a book. We found that when you look at a phone before bed, you feel less tired and sleep less time .

The good thing is that we also found some things people can do to stay away from this problem.

One is not to look at a phone or computer two hours before going to bed. Another thing people can do is to get a lot of bright light from the sun during the day. This will help people sleep at night.

The studies have shown us a lot, but there is still more that needs to be done. We will keep on studying the dark side of blue light to help people avoid problems it may bring.
