Course Description
This course aims to enhance your oral skills, communication strategies and critical thinking while preparing you for oral exams of GEPT and TOEIC (2
nd semester). Your improvement will be achieved through intensive practice and discussions with the instructor and with the teaching assistants as well as among the peers. Besides practicing target vocabulary of selected topics, you will use various discussion strategies to express your ideas and insights.
Objectives
You are expected to achieve the following.
Use proper diction and language patterns in discussions.
Critique highlighted issues.
Develop inter-personal and communication abilities, problem-solving abilities, and abilities to work in a group.
Be ready for the oral exams of high-intermediate GEPT and TOEIC.
