Support Scheme for e-Learning in Schools [Wi-Fi 100]

The Support Scheme for e-Learning in Schools (the Scheme) aims at providing 100 public sector schools with funding to enhance their Wi-Fi infrastructure to cater for the need of using e-textbooks and e-learning resources in class. The funding will also allow schools to acquire mobile computing devices sufficient for use in class by students.

The Education Bureau has announced the results of the

Scheme on March 18. For details of the support measures for

the selected schools (Schools), please refer to relevant pages

of this web site.

• 由政府與Wi-Fi營辦商、公私營機構共同協作,透 過一個通用的Wi-Fi品牌「Wi-Fi.HK」,方便市民和 旅客使用免費公共Wi-Fi服務。

• 鼓勵學校參與計劃,讓訪客、家長及嘉賓到訪學 校時,無須登記,免費使用Wi-Fi服務。

• 無須在全校提供「Wi-Fi.HK」服務,可 選擇在已計劃裝設Wi-Fi地點如接待處、

禮堂、會議室等地方,讓服務供應商同 時提供Wi-Fi.HK服務。
