During the past calendar year 2016 I paid three visits to NCKU (July, October and December) for a total of three months. Working closely with Dr Yee-Shin Lin and colleagues, my activities focused on research collaboration (dengue and related projects), teaching and graduate student advising and mentoring.

是的，無論在研究和教學上的成效都符合預期目標。

What are the methods, professional knowledge, and progress of the research, teaching, or R&D and management work?

在研究上，主要研究主題為登革病毒之致病機制，A 群鏈球菌(Group A Streptococcus)在不同

細胞複製之研究，以及與 autophagy 相關的細胞訊息傳遞。2016 年已發表一篇期刊論文，另

一篇將於 2017 年 1 月發表。還有目前在 revise 和送審中計七篇 manuscripts。在教學上，負責

Graduate Immunology 四週課程，Advanced Immunology 兩次課程，Infectious Diseases 一次課

程，和英文寫作一次課程，並且參與研究生每週之專題討論，以及每週之 Virology meeting，

免疫和感染症書報討論，及 Group A Streptococcus meeting。

此密切的國際合作在傳染性疾病及訊息研究中心的登革病毒、細菌、及訊息傳遞研究有很大

的助益。對於研究生，無論在研究上以及英文寫作和口語能力的增強都提供極佳成效。

How has the employed person, during his or her term of employment, benefited your unit or the relevant domestic academic field?

Professor Robert Anderson 對於成大碩博士班研究生在學術研究上提供貢獻，擔任研究生的論

文指導委員，並且參加定期舉行的進度報告會議。也協助同仁在 manuscripts 的修改及提供建

議。

1.

共同合作探討登革病毒以及 A 群鏈球菌之致病機制，對於登革疫苗研發提供策略。

2.

共同發表兩篇期刊論文，並有七篇 manuscripts 在 revision 和送審中。

3.

與感染與免疫相關的授課計 7 次，每次 3 小時。

4.

英文論文寫作的課程與輔導。

5.

參與研究生每週之專題討論，以及免疫和感染症書報討論。

6.

參加傳染性疾病及訊息研究中心定期舉行的進度報告會議。
