ABSTRACT
The discussion is studied from Ching-Sheui Service Area which discusses the interaction between the populace and the public arts in the transportation infrastructure and what kind of role the art plays in the transportation infrastructure in Taiwan . The study discusses the interaction between the populace ,the art , and the environment from view point of Genius Loci , and how people perceive and consider the public art in the transportation infrastructure. Besides , this study analyses that how does the public art perform in the transportation infrastructure , what kind of performance can be accepted widely and what kind of performance can be mixed together with the environment better. There are two purposes in the discussion. One discusses the interaction between the populace and the public art. Another analyses the interaction between the performance of the public art and the environment.
